Storytelling at the Wren's Nest

Hear a storyteller bring the Br'er Rabbit stories to life at the Wren's Nest House Museum, home of Georgia's most famous 19th century author, journalist and folklorist, Joel Chandler Harris. A National Historic and City of Atlanta landmark, the house is located in the West End's historic district. During the 1990's the house completed a restoration project that garnered prestigious awards for historic preservation from the Atlanta Urban Design Commission and The Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation. The House is open for scheduled tours the same day. See schedule for details.

MARTA: South rail line to West End Station, bus 71 to the Wren's Nest 5 blocks west along Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard. To get a free bus transfer, before exiting the turnstile, tap your card on the target as you did to enter the station.
