Trees Atlanta invites you to take a guided
walk through the new Cabbagetown Arboretum, featuring both Appalachian
species and trees for small places. About 60 trees, old and new,
have been identified by granite markers, providing interesting
details about each tree. Cabbagetown, built between 1886 and
1892 for workers at the Fulton Bag and Cotton Mill, is Atlanta's
oldest and largest industrial settlement and one of the South's
largest factory supported villages.
