One of seven themed tours of historic Sylvester Cemetery. Originally a family burial plot, Sylvester Cemetery is one of the oldest cemeteries in DeKalb County. It encompasses plots of the Terry and McWilliams families and the Sylvester Baptist Church Cemetery. After years of neglect, efforts to remove brush, trim trees and repair headstones began in 2002 and have transformed the cemetery and the surrounding neighborhood.
