South-View Cemetery Guided Tour

Tour Historic South-View Cemetery, founded in 1886 under the premise that a dignified burial place should be available for all. Community leaders resting at South-Views' beautifully landscaped 200 acres include Dr. and Mrs. Martin Luther King Sr., Alonzo Herndon, John Wesley Dobbs and Graham Jackson. The Foundation was established in 2004 to record, interpret, restore and preserve the art, history and environment of Historic South-View.

Directions: Meet at angel in front of main building at the cemetery, 1990 Jonesboro Road ­ MAP

MARTA: From Five Points Rail Station, take bus #55 to the cemetery.
