Opened in 1850, Oakland Cemetery is the final
resting place of Atlanta's founding citizens. This tour focuses
on the lives of the city's first farmers and lawyers and the
early mayors and town commissioners.

Meet in the Visitors Center, 248 Oakland Avenue

MARTA: East rail line to King Memorial Station. Exit the
station and walk south on Grant Street. Turn left at stop sign
onto MLK Drive. You will be facing Oakland's front gates.
