Guided Tour of Chastain Park Amphitheatre

Tour the Chastain Park Amphitheatre with Chastain Park Conservancy director Ray Mock. You'll enter through the door that Willie Nelson uses and stand on the stage where hundreds of musical stars have performed. Mock's stories trace the history from the theater's opening in 1944 and the first rock concert with Cream in 1968 through the successful Atlanta Pops Concerts.

Directions: Meet in the Red Lot on corner of Stella Drive and Powers Ferry Road ­ MAP

MARTA: North rail line to Lindbergh Station, then bus #38. To get a free bus transfer, before exiting the turnstile, tap your card on the target as you did to enter the station.
