Living History on Fort Walker

Ft. Walker, one of the last remaining Confederate defensive fortifications and located in the far southeast corner of Historic L.P. Grant Park, will host a Living History exhibit featuring Union and Confederate soldiers sharing their experiences while on campaign.  Throughout the day, until 4:00 p.m., reenactors will build a Chevaux de Fries and provide talks at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 noon and 2:00 p.m. covering such topics as uniforms, battlefield strategy, camp life, and more.

 

Saturday, March 20, 10 am, Noon, and 2 pm – Talk on uniforms, battlefield strategy, camp life and more.

Throughout the day until 4 pm - Reenactors will build a Chevaux de Fries.

 

Ft. Walker is located in the South East corner of Grant Park, Boulevard SE at Atlanta Ave SE 30315.  Parking is available in the Boulevard parking lot of Grant Park.
